From Jaxsons Mom....
If you have a moment this week to include Jaxson in your prayers that would be great----he needs a few extra prayers to get him over a few difficult weeks with news from home.
Dear everyone, Unfortunately my letter this week is not very long. We were able to meet with a few less active and new converts. Our newest convert friend from the last transfer was able to receive the Aaronic priesthood which was great. We also were able to go visit with a less active and bring a member with us. He was a returned missionary of 3 years and was able to testify with us as we shared the restoration. It felt so lovely and I felt so great after. For this week I was able to learn the importance of prayer. I can testify that prayer really works and that no matter what happens to you, you will always have three beings in your life to support you. God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. We often think when we pray we will receive a miraculous answer instantly or soon. That is not the case. God lets us struggle so we can humble ourselves and come closer to him. BUT HE IS THERE. He wants to help you and all you have to do is ask earnestly, consistently, and be doing the things that make you worthy of His help. If you read in Enos in the Book of Mormon, you see he did this very thing and was able to receive an answer. Things happen that you didn't think were possible. Just yesterday we got a text from the bishop saying that a new woman moved into the ward with a son who wanted to be baptized. Prayers ARE answered. Not by our time but by Gods and when we need them, not when we want them. God is there you just have show you want his help.
