Week #15 New Area

Dear everyone back home,

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Here on the mission the Christmas season is awesome and I'm SO PUMPED for CHRISTMAS! Here on the mission we are sharing the Christmas Initiative which if you search and watch a few videos that show the true meaning of Christmas and the joy that we have knowing we have a savior who is the true gift and that #ASaviorIsBorn I would encourage all of you to share this website and/or hash tag on social media and express your love for the gift of Jesus Christ in the next week. I would also invite you to read Luke 2 talking about the birth of Christ. Fun Fact: The other name of the savior is Immanuel which means "God With Us" which I love because Jesus Christ was sent of God the Father and shows us that he cares and the plan of happiness is forever real.

This was a amazing week! On Tuesday I met my new companion who is Elder Ngerantar, he is from Malaysia and has been out on his mission for about 10 months. He's an amazing hard worker who has been here for 3 transfers previous and has an established relationship with the members of the Mountain Ward which is funny cause my home ward is the Mountain Heights Ward.

So much happened this week. On Wednesday we went and help the young men with service at a place where they give toys to those children in need and on Friday we met with one of our Investigators named M. And we set a baptismal date with him for December 19 so We are super excited. Then on Saturday and Sunday we went to Stake Conference where we got to hear from Elder Schwitzer of the 70 who really stressed that Joseph Smith a man with a fourth grade education could not have written such an in depth book that would have taken historians, war history and strategists, theologians and physicians and various kinds of scientists and specialist and it's amazing cause he didn't write it. He simply translated it with the Power of God and this was all done in the space of 90 days. For those of you who try to read this in 90 days I want you to think about how all this was done and written in 90 days. In Matthew 19:26 it says "but Jesus beheld them and said unto them, with men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible."

Later on Sunday evening we were blessed to hear the beautiful music of the Christmas devotional which would recommend to those who have not seen it yet. Also we will be participating in a Christmas singing Cantata in our ward so I'll Give you an update of the next week. Anyways love you all so much and God Bless and Speed.

Yours truly,

-Elder Toly from week 15 (Holy cow ha ha ha)
