Week #33--Transfer Week!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great week! This week was pretty crazy and I can't remember a lot of specifics but here is a run-down of the last few days.

On Thursday we drove up to Brampton where the temple, mission office and President all are. So we got there early and did some work for Assistants in their area and let me just say, there are a lot of people in Brampton who are from India so we pretty much just contacted a bunch of them which was pretty fun. We then stayed over at the AP's ( assistant to the President) house which is a three story house that they share with the zone leaders in Brampton and because there was a ton of stuff going on the next day most of the zone leaders in the mission were there so we had this huge sleepover where we all slept in the same room which was the best thing ever haha even though we did not get that much sleep.

The next day was the temple trip so we got to go to the temple. It was nice and as soon as we left the doors I had an amazing renewal of energy and felt so good and just was happy to feel the Spirit. We then went to a meeting across the street where most of the mission attended so there was a ton of missionaries, probably the most I've seen in the mission all together and our President addressed us on his new calling to the 70 and gave a little information about the future President. After that we ended up going back to Lindsay then later went to Bowmanville to help them in their area. After that we went to Oshawa to stay with the zone leaders cause the next day we had zone council. So pretty much we just did a ton of driving .

But also we had our transfer calls. My companion is going to Kitchener and I am staying where I will be getting a new companion named Elder Karras or something like that. So hopefully we can get Lindsay up and bumping and dust out the font. Some potential in this area for sure. We just need to get the members bought in and to start bring friends to activities and church. Slowly but steady if we do this we should start seeing some good things.

So that's kind of the gist of things, but before i leave y'all, I just wanted to bear my testimony of the atonement. I know that Christ died for our sins and took all of the bad we would ever experience, all the trials, the sins, the heartache, the disappointment, and the loss of hope. He willing suffered so that if we come unto Him and be perfected in Him we can make it through those heartaches, disappointment, hopeless days, trials and that we can be cleansed and purified from our sins. The atonement is a powerful thing we can ALL access and use. We can all be comforted and we can ALL be healed. I know that the atonement heals me and that helps fix me as I continually press forward and I really can say that it is powerful. That tears are the manifestation of healing and that everything in this life that tries to push us down can in turn make us stronger and qualify us for exaltation. But I just wanted to let you all know this, that I KNOW this. I hope you all can truly use the atonement in your lives and help bring others to the knowledge of it in their own lives. For those of my friends who read this and are not religious, I just want to say that there's a way to keep going forward and that is Jesus Christ.
